Yuck or Yum McD's

OK I'll be the first to say I love McDonald's, but this is so gross and turning me off fast. I read an article on Yahoo! about this lady who left a happy meal setting in her kitchen for six months. After six months nothing had changed about the happy meal other than it got hard as a rock.
What are we feeding our kids and ourselves? What's in that stuff to make it where mold doesn't even grow on it? What's wrong with just serving us a normal burger? I want a burger that doesn't perserve itself. My daughter isn't old enough to eat happy meals yet, but she does eat the fries. I'm thinking about cutting that out of her diet.
If it doesn't change in 180 days, what is that doing to our insides? Where's the owner of McDonald's when you need to ask all these questions? Now ask yourself, do when want to keep eating this?
I'm not going on some big McDonald's strike. Like I said I love McD's. But I think we need to set high standards for our food.

Cuponk

Really? I have never used this and nor do I want to. Its a cup and a ping pong ball. Wow the cup has zombies on it and lights up. All the pictures and lights still doesn't change the fact that its still a cup and a ball. Really now, it comes with trick cards? That doesn't make it any different. It's a cup and a ball.
Are kids these days so bored that they are playing with cups and balls? Go outside and play. I would never waste my money on this crap. OK I know my daughter isn't old enough to want stuff like this, but even if she was I would not, in anyway buy this. I have a cup in the cabinet and a ball probably laying under my couch, there you go play away.
I can't believe someone is making money off this thing. What a genius. You painted a cup and put a sticker on a ball. Congrats you fooled a bunch of people into buying your random crap. Way to go!

Please people think before you buy.

Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce

This stuff right here is awesome. I 1st tried it at T.G.I. Fridays. Then I told myself I had to have it at home. So I got some and start throwing it on my pork chops. My hubby also loves it. I have only tried it on pork. But I'm thinking of throwing it on some chicken. That's what it was on when I had to at T.G.I. Fridays. So I'm thinking I will be awesome.
I so think everyone should try it. It's not that pricey and so worth every penny.

To Be Skimpy or Not To Be Skimpy

I just read this news article on Yahoo about cheerleaders and skimpy uniforms. One group in Florida was pushing to wear smaller outfits and the other in Connecticut was pushing for uniforms that covered their midriffs.
This shows a lot about today's girls. The girl from Connecticut had a study on her side. A study that showed in college cheerleaders who's outfits showed midriffs had a higher risk of getting an eating disorder. Which I can understand. You're out in front of millions of people, in the stands and on TV. If I was in front of that many people every weekend in something showing off my body I would do anything to look good. Not saying that getting at eating disorder is good, in no way am I saying that. I give this girl so much credit for pushing for uniforms that make the girls feel better about themselves.
Now these girls who are pushing for smaller uniforms should be slapped. If they were my daughters I would take them to a whore house and show them what their trying to look like at the age of 16 through 18. I know that's harsh of me to say but I think in this day and age we need to start respecting our bodies as women. As a 21 year old I know that they only want smaller uniforms because they think it makes them all sexier ( sluttier) to guys. As a mother I think we need to teach our daughters that wearing little to nothing is not being sexy. We need to teach them that their bodies need to be respected by other and themselves.
OK I'm starting to rabble and this is just my opinion. Here's the article you can read and make your own opinion, Yahoo, cheerleaders.
